Install and Setup Lorex Cloud on Mobile Devices

Learn how to install and setup the new Lorex Cloud app on your mobile device. With Lorex Cloud app you can access your cameras from anywhere via internet.

1 – Open App Store app;

2 – Select Search Button;

3 – Type Lorex Cloud on the search field;

4 – Tap the icon to download/install the app. At this point you might need to enter your apple id (username/password);

5 – After Lorex Cloud is installed and opened for the first time, you will be asked to allow the app to send you notifications, access your photos, etc. We recommend you allow and give access to everything the app asks for;

6 – When you open Lorex Cloud for the first time, you are going to see a screen similar to the one below.  Select  the  Main  Menu  on  the top  left;

7  – Select  Device Manager;

8 – On the next screen, tap the + icon on the top right to add a new device;

9 – Select DVR/NVR/ IP Camera;

10 – Enter the following information then tap on CONNECT:

  • Register Mode: Device ID
  • Name: Whatever you want to name your site (exemple: home)
  • Device ID: This information can be found on the Recorder with a QR Code. You can enter the Device ID manually or scan your recorder QR Code using your phone’s camera
  • Client Port: 35000
  • Username: your username (default is admin)
  • Password: your password
  • Live View: Sub
  • Playback: Sub

That’s all. If everything worked fine you should see your cameras live soon. The connection process time varies depending on factors such as your internet speed, the internet speed where the recorder is installed, etc.  Click here to visit Lorex Cloud page.
